Our engagement process
DevHubLegal follows a structured process to assess legal needs specific to software projects and development firms. We start with a focused intake to understand your product, development model and commercial relationships. Next, we review agreements, policies and technical documentation to identify compliance and contractual risks. Finally, we prepare clear, implementable legal documents and practical recommendations aligned with Malaysian law and common industry practices.
Initial intake
A structured call or form submission to capture project scope, development model, deployment plans and any immediate legal concerns. This step clarifies priorities for follow-up work and sets expectations for deliverables and timelines.
Review & analysis
Assessment of existing contracts, licensing terms, privacy notices, security measures and corporate documentation. The review identifies gaps relative to regulatory requirements and commercial risk profiles, and proposes prioritized actions.
Delivery & implementation
Drafting or revising contracts, licensing terms and privacy policies; preparing negotiation briefs; and providing practical notes for engineers and product managers to reduce friction between legal and development teams.
